Welcome to my first newsletter. I'm hoping to release this four times a year to keep my readers up to date on new books, tour dates, and the rest.

First I'd like to thank everyone who participated in the contest to name this newsletter. The winner was Kimani author Wayne Jordan. Tied for second were: Velicia Tillman Johnson and Evangeline Holland. The two runners up will receive copies of the books I published in 2010. Wayne will receive the same, and copies of all my 2011 releases. Thanks again to everyone who submitted entries.

In his winning entry Wayne Jordan said this: the title Always Beverly would emphasize all of what Ms. Jenkins embodies. Whatever she writes, whichever genre, the readers get what they want … each work ALWAYS BEVERLY.

So until next time,

Always, Beverly
